Steve and Coach Quarez put on a triathlon the beginning of June to benefit Stansbury High School's cross country team. It was shorter than a normal sprint triathlon and because the swim was in a pool it was backwards from a normal triathlon, starting with the run and ending with the swim. I prefer it that way so I can get the run finished first and then I can pass anyone in the pool who has passed me on the run or bike!! The run was 3.1 miles, bike 5 miles, swim 175 yards. My twin sister, Kim, and a friend of hers came down for the race. The three of us took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd!
