My favorite thing about Christmas is having my family together and being able to spend time as a family. Over Christmas break we had fun playing games together, relaxing and watching movies, going to Temple Square, going swimming, going to a U2 laser show (Miranda wanted to see Santa vs. the Snowman, but mom and dad voted U2!). She wound up loving the laser show! Jaxon was enthralled with the lights and music and was dancing most of the time! It was also fun to play in the snow and build igloos and snow people (politically correct!!) and run around with the sleds in the backyard (great workout!).
On Christmas Eve we enjoyed spending some time with our good friends the Rignells. Lacey made some great Chinese food, which was a Christmas Eve tradition with her family growing up. The kids all opened their pajamas together. Lacey has great pictures on her blog! We all had a great time!
On Christmas day Jaxon enjoyed the train set and dinosaurs Santa gave him and the girls loved their water babies and Barbie things. I'm not sure what Jaxon loved more, his train and dinos, or the Barbie airplane and limo the girls got. He was caught playing with the Barbie airplane more than the girls were playing with it!!
