Easter Time

It's always fun to decorate eggs at Easter time.  J.J. was especially amazed at how the egg dying process works!
Dad, the Mad Scientist!

The Easter Bunny left pails with the kids' favorite candy and an arrow pointing to outside where the kids discovered the Bunny had filled their sandbox and left candy scattered and buried in the sand!  The Bunny left Elena lemonheads.  Obviously, he knows what Elena's favorite candy is.  Her mom only recently discovered that lemonheads and sour candy is her favorite.  This was discovered on a trip to the movie theatre with her Abuela and cousins.  Abuela had bought candy to take to the theatre, one of which were lemonheads.  Elena was sitting directly in front of Abuela and every few minutes her eyes would peer over the seat and ask, "Can I have more of those heads?"  She takes after her Aunt April!  Jaxon obviously loved whatever candy he could get his hands on and was found after his bath on the counter, naked eating Elena's lemonheads.

Obviously, Easter is not about the bunny, egg hunts, and candy.  It is about our Savior and His Resurrection and because of Him we too can be resurrected and be forever with Him, our Heavenly Parents, and our families.
